Find a plant by botanical name
In some cases, several different species of plants are known by the same common name. The common name "Tumbleweed" properly refers to Russian thistle; however, other plants, such as Kochia and the Knapweeds, are sometimes referred to as "Tumbleweed." It is a good idea to refer to, or at least to know, the botanical name of the plant you are concerned with, to insure that you have made a correct identification.
